Play time

Maddie and Daddy play alot during the day. When mommy comes home from work Daddy tells of the fun they had building forts and playing Maddie so hard that she falls asleep in funny places. One day she fell asleep in her high chair. The other day she was practicing sitting all by herself and the next minute she got so tired she fell asleep on the pillow next to her. She has also been practicing using a sippy cup. We have been feeding her cereal everyday and some veggies also. A couple of her favorite things are playing with her toes and with her puppy Meadow. They are becoming good friends. I will have to snap a few pics of them together to post.

Maddie and Katherine

Madison has a cousin Katherine who is 3 months younger than her. Katherine came out to visit last wknd. Maddie loves to play with other babies and hold hands.

Road Trip to MPLS

We took a road trip to Blaine this month to visit Gma Vicki and Gpa Frank.  Madison did great in the car.  We didn't even have to stop for her once!  She slept alot and DJ had the great idea of bringing the portable dvd player along.  When she woke from naps she watched some Baby Einstein videos and had a great time.  These are some pics of her watching the movies.

Holiday Pics

The holidays were great. It was so fun to be with family and to have Jenny home! Meadow even dressed up as Santa! We are so greatful for Madison as she is the best thing that has ever happened to us!

Madison's Baptism

Madison got baptised over the holidays. She did wonderfully! Brian & Lindsey Were the Godparents. They got her a beautiful baptismal ring and bracelet. The bracelet has her name engraved along with a diamond and pearl. The bracelet can grow with her so she can get many years of use out of it. It was really precious! The gown she wore was made by Grandma Viv and worn by Lindsey also. The whole day was great. Had family over at Dad and Becky's for lunch afterwards. Maddie got really tired out as you can see! Auntie Jenny even was able to come home from Texas to be there for the big day!
