Florida Feb 2010

We had a great time on our 11 day vacation to Florida! Maddie did awesome on all four plane rides! The weather was not as warm as we hoped by we still enjoyed being outside in the fresh air every day! Maddie loved the beach, sand, shells and water! We had lots of fun with Gma Lil, Gpa Larry, Gma Vicki and Gpa Frank! It was our first family vacation and we are hoping to make it an annual tradition! Thanks again Mom and Frank for showing us a wonderful time!

Maddie got these cute sunglasses from Grandma Vicki from the Mall of America. We have had lots of changes at the McDougall house. DJ and I both started school full time last week and Maddie has been going to day care part time. We all survived! Maddie really enjoys day care and she is at a good age to start playing more with other kids and is learning lots and talking more all ready! We are all looking forward to joining Erica's Granparents Larry and Lil and Erica's mom and Frank in Florida in four weeks on a much needed long getaway!

Maddie went and hung out with Grandpa Mike and Grandma Becky this weekend. They have cute new little vanity set with all sorts of toys to play with - even a hair dryer that sounds like the real thing! Maddie really enjoyed that and spending time with them. Grandpa and Maddie even went sledding on Saturday to take advantage of the nice weather.

Fun in the cities visiting and playing!

Last weekend we went to Blaine to stay with Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Frank. We had a great time! My Friend Erin and her fiance Ryan came over to visit. Maddie even came down and played for awhile while they were their. Saturday morning we headed to the Mall of America for Maddie's second trip there. This time we brought her to Underwater Adventure! It was so much fun! When we arrived at the mall we all realized we forgot to bring a stroller. Grandma insisted we go buy one at the mall. That was quite the experience assembling a stoller in the store! We saw all sorts of amazing things there. You could even touch some crabs, star fish and other water animals. Gma and Gpa even bought Maddie a necklace that she loves! Thanks for all the fun times Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Frank!

Early Christmas Present

Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Frank had an early xmas gift delivered to our house for Madison. She really enjoyed opening it and helping us put it together! We put it in her room - playroom I should say since it is only used for that! She has a blast going in there and playing with it throughout the day. She is really good at keeping her self entertained when we are too busy to play with her. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Maddie's first sled ride

Sunday morning we asked Maddie if she wanted to go outside. She went and got all her gear and wanted to go play in the snow. We decided to have DJ pull us in a sled behind the 4 wheeler. It was Maddie's first sled ride. She was quiet at first until her cousin Danika jumped in with us. Those two girls were giggling so hard while DJ pulled us around. I couldn't help giggle myself listening to them and watching them have so much fun. It was a wonderful memmory! When we brought Maddie inside she cried wanting to go back out! She is loving the winter and our country life so far!
